A Message from Our General Manager

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Plastec for over 30 years, and I’ve seen firsthand the innovation it has brought to the plumbing industry. It began with the first clips that held the pipe off the wall to allow for expansion and contraction. Since then it has given us the ground-breaking Stack Diverter for commercial stacks and Swivel Expansion Joints that allow for movement in the soil. Well-known names like Tritec valves, Flexi Fin pan connectors and Quickstick pipe hangers are all part of Plastec’s innovative range.

Plastec sells only to Plumbers Merchants, because our products must be installed by a licensed plumber or drainlayer. Installation by anyone else may void the warranty. We sell only to Plumbers Merchants, who in turn sell only to plumbers and drainlayers.

The plumbing industry has evolved a lot over that time, and it’s great to see a company like Plastec develop solution-focused products. It is satisfying to be part of a private company that understands its market and manufactures locally. Just look at our most recent development, the Drop Junction. When was the last innovation in PVC fittings?

Having seen many new products in development, I know the future looks exciting for Plastec and for our industry.
